Bruce was my step dad for about 8 years, during which time we had many ups and downs. The good memories still make me smile and even laugh. He was a genuinely loving man who watched out for us, took up for us, and best of all - brought us all together. Without Bruce I would have missed out on knowing his sons, and I would never have been given the best gift ever, a sister who I love so deeply. Bruce gave that to me and I am forever grateful. My heart and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time. I pray to one day see Bruce in heaven and have an opportunity to tell him how much he meant to us all and how even in the bad times we were all making mistakes because we are human, nothing is ever one person's fault and I hope Bruce knows that he left this world with no bitterness following him. Nothing but prayers for peace and strength to his family and a love that even the grave cannot silence.
