In the late fall of 2017, the owner and staff of Lakeside Funeral Home met over several days and decided it was time offer the people of Southwest Louisiana a choice in Cremation Care. We broke ground on Novmeber 22, 2017 and Lakeside Crematory was organized in January of 2018 and was fully licensed on March 21, 2018.
When selecting our equipment, we were very concerned about the dignity, respect, and level of care of those that have been entrusted into our care. After numerous discussions, many reference checks, and countless onsite visits, we felt very comfortable that B & L Crematories was the best fit for the job.
We selected a state of the art computer controlled crematory unit N-20AA manufactured by a family owed company, just like ours, that is located here in the United States.
In consultation with leading industry experts, we have developed a rigid set of dignified and secure processes that exceeds industry standards to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and that your loved one receives the highest standard of cremation care. All of our Cremations are performed privately in a secure facility by a Crematory Operator licensed by the Louisiana Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors.
We utilize an electronic tracking system developed specificly to meet the needs of crematories to enhance our already robust written policies and procedures to ensure that the level of care given to your loved one is second to none.
Lakeside Crematory, LLC is a third party cremation care provider owned and operated by the owners of Lakeside Funeral Home. We proudly service funeral homes and cannot offer our services directly to the public. If you are interested in quality cremation care, please ask the funeral home of your choice about our services.
