Leroy William Wepking
Leroy William Wepking, 81, a resident of Lake Charles, passed peacefully on February 12, 2015 in his home surrounded by his family.
Leroy will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a very considerate and helpful person and had an amazing sense of humor and loved telling jokes. Leroy was an intelligent man with an insatiable curiosity about life and loved looking things up on the internet. In his spare time he loved woodworking and building model boats.
Mr. Wepking leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Marie Carpenter Wepking, stepsons; Bill Calloway and wife Becky of Glenmora, LA, and Keith Seamons and wife Tina of Pensacola, FL, three granddaughters, Allison Sosa, Catherine Lenier, Elizabeth Salavka, two grandsons; Robert Calloway and his family, and Shaun Calloway and wife Maria and their family, a very special great granddaughter, Leann Calloway of Lake Charles, and one sister, Dorothy Bouffiou and her husband Russell.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Monday from 9:45 Am until time of service. A celebration of Mr. Wepking’s life will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
