Obituary for JoAnne Cecelia Kuhlthau
JoAnne Kuhlthau, 90, of Moss Bluff, entered eternal rest in her daughter's home on Jan 6, 2023. Two years to the day after his own passing, her oldest son Ray reached down and took his momma's hand to join him. A wonderful reunion of mother and devoted son. A native of South River, New Jersey, JoAnne has been a resident of Moss Bluff since 1977.
Those left to cherish her memory are son Mark Kuhlthau Sr. and wife Kala of Sulphur, daughter; Nancy Briggs and husband Steve of Moss Bluff, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, sister; Phyllis Wiecek of New Jersey, and brother Robert Wisniewski of Pennsylvania.
She is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Raymond W "Pete" Kuhlthau Sr, son; Raymond W Kuhlthau Jr, grandson; Brannon, and sister Shirley Losiewicz.
In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Kuhlthau’s cremation was entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home.
