Laurie Lee Sidan, 55, a resident of Moss Bluff, passed from this life on December 15, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Sidan will forever be remembered for her loving, selfless, giving, and strong nature. She was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren, and they loved her in return. Laurie was a Godly woman who possessed a strong and silent faith. Her faith and strength were the glue that held her family together. Mrs. Sidan was an avid watcher of old sitcoms and movies. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, swimming, and visiting with her family and friends. She was the best woman they knew.

Laurie is preceded in death by her parent, Kathy and Harold Bergeron.

She leaves to mourn her loss and cherish her precious memory; her husband, Derrick Sidan, daughters, Chasta Sidan and husband Austin Potts and Lydia Sidan; adoring grandchildren, Sean Sidan-Johns, Chloe Sidan, and Amelia Sidan; brother, James McCallister, and sister, Jammie Ridenour and husband Chris, several nieces and nephews, and her four-legged fur baby, Oreo.

Mrs. Sidan’s cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
