Obituary for Johnnie F Saucier

Johnnie Faye “BoBo” Saucier, 71, a resident of Lake Charles, passed from this life on July 19, 2021, in a local hospital. Johnnie was born on February 21, 1950, in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

“BoBo” loved cooking for others and spending time with her friends at her weekly card games. She lived her life to its fullest and loved listening to her country music. “BoBo” enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and took great pride in their individual and collective accomplishments. She will be forever remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Her tenacity was without match. She had a very loving, kind, and caring soul who was generous to a fault and would not let anyone do without. Her concern for others' betterment and welfare was paramount in her life.

Mrs. Saucier is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Raymond and Joy Delaine Pettifield Savage, and brothers, Rodney Savage and Raymond Joy Savage.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Keri Gilroy, and husband Brendon; son, Kendall Ange and wife Christina; grandchildren, Taylor Ange, Haile Gilroy, Ciara Gilroy, Daniel “Stitch” Ange, and Gracie Ange, siblings, Debra “Teet” Reeves and husband Anthony “Andy” and Walter “Clinton” Savage and wife Sharon; special aunt, Linda Friese, and a very dear friend Shelly LeBlanc.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 11:00 AM until the time of service in the chapel of Johnson and Brown Funeral Home in Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on July 21, 2021, in the chapel of Johnson and Brown Funeral Home. Rev. Luke Liechty is to officiate. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery.
