Obituary for Linda Sue Tamburrino (Bonamici)
Linda Sue Bonamici Tamburrino, 69, passed from this life on November 10, 2020 surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved games of chance and believed in living her life to the fullest. She filled life with zest, fun, and laughter for anyone that knew her. Linda loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and will be forever remembered for her tenacity and love of life.
Mrs. Tamburrino is preceded in death by her parents William and Irene Minko Bonamici; brothers, Robert and William Bonamici.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 49-Years James Tamburrino; children, Jennie Mickey and husband Brian, Frank Tamburrino, and Jaime Tamburrino; grandchildren, Emma Mickey, Kayla Mickey, and Ruby McGill; siblings, Kathi Vidrine and Laura Gunterman, and many nieces and nephews.
A gathering of friends will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the chapel of Johnson and Brown Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Johnson and Brown Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne LeBlue is to officiate. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
The family request that mask be worn and social distancing be practiced during the gathering and memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Mrs. Tamburrino’s honor to a charity of your choice.
