Obituary for Gregory Kent Vincent
Gregory Kent Vincent, 70, a lifelong resident of Sulphur, passed away on August 21, 2020 surrounded by his daughters.
Greg as he was known by all was loving father, brother, and loyal friend. He lived his life on his own terms. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry, and telling stories.
He is preceded in death by his parents Cleveland Joseph Vincent and Ruth Jones Vincent; brothers, Alfia Vincent and Wayne Vincent, and sisters, Mary Opal Manuel and Patsy O'quain.
Greg leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters; Sandra Smith and husband Jeremiah Jacobs and Patsy Fontenot and husband Justin; brother, Rodney Vincent and wife Roxanne; sister Diane Stelly; grandchildren, Bailey Smith, Olivia Jacobs, Kailie Fontenot, Payton Fontenot, and Darus Fontenot, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 11:00 AM until time of service. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service.
In lieu of cut flowers, the family request potted plants be sent in in Greg’s memory.
