Grace Simon Roe, 76, a resident of Lake Charles, passed from this life on July 14, 2020, in a local hospital.
Grace was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a passionate watcher of the cooking channel. She will be forever remembered for her big heart and generous nature. She was devoted to her family, loved spending time with them, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren the most.
Mrs. Roe is preceded in death by her parents, Morris Simon Sr. and Mary Louise Kibodeaux Simon; daughter, Vicki Welch Case; grandson, Jake Welsh, brothers, A.J. Simon, Rudy “Butch” Simon, and Glen Simon.
Grace is survived by her children David Welch wife Carolyn and Tammy Welch and partner Crystal Taylor; grandchildren, Jaime Welch, Chance Case, and Michael Kent; great-grandchildren, Bradly Welch, Sidney Welch, Hayden Welch, Taylor Case, and Victoria Case; siblings, Judy Miller and husband Robert, Morris Simon, Jr. and wife Linda, Jimmy Simon and wife Bonnie, Roger Simon and wife Vicky, Larry Simon and wife Dawn, and Chris Simon and partner Lefty.
In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Roe will be cremated.
