Clarence Emery Hess, 87, a resident of Moss Bluff, LA passed from this life on May 5, 2020 in the comfort of his home.

Mr. Hess served with honor in the United States Navy. He retired from Christus St. Patrick’s Hospital as the Director of Engineering. He was a graduate of Eldorado Springs High School and studied for 2 years at the local Junior College.

Clarence is preceded in death by his parents, Alden and Melissa Hess, sister; Shirley Galloway; wife, Carol Bean Hess; stepdaughters, Brenda Veillon and Carol Kellogg.

Mr. Hess leaves to cherish his memory is children: Deborah Wessel and husband Mark, Ed Hess and wife Sharon, and Fred Hess, sister; Joyce Coleman and husband James, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11AM until time of service at Lakeside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2020 in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. David Veillon is to officiate. Burial will follow at Black Bayou Cemetery.

In accordance with state regulations attendance is limited to 10 people.
