Obituary

Anthony James Morse, 50, a resident of Lake Charles passed from this life onto his eternal reward on April 10, 2020 in a local hospital.
Anthony, or “T-MO” as he was best known, was larger than life and he commanded any room he was in. His wit, candor, and stories were legendary. He possessed a sharp mind, was very observant, and was loved by all. T-MO was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He will be missed for his affable and warm personality and unique sense of humor. His children were his prized possession and considered them the best three things that have every happened to him.

Mr. Morse is preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Elaine Duhon Morse and brother, Joseph Lee Morse.

Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Cindy Wilks Morse, his children; Ariel Morse and husband Jared, Brooks Morse, and Tristan Morse, father; Linzie Morse, brothers; Chad Morse and wife Megan and Chuck Morse, sister; Angela Morse, grand-dog; Jake, and Canine Companion Wrigley.

The family would like to express their deepest thanks to the staff of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, the Perez Family and all of T-Mo’s friends and extended family for their love, thoughts, acts of kindness, and compassion during this difficult time.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Morse will be cremated. His cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home. A celebration of Anthony’s life will be held once gathering restrictions are lifted.

Toney was my absolute favorite person to argue with about nothing! He would dish it out...and I’d give it right back to him knowing full well at some point, I was going to have to bow out... call “uncle” ‘cause the man could NOT be outwitted!! Anyone who knew him knows that!!

Cindy, Ariel, Brooks, Tristan... love y’all so much!! So many sweet memories of him to hold tight! He was always good for a laugh! ♥️ He will be missed...but truly...never forgotten!!

So much of a great man who so adored his children. Knew him for the past 40 years or more and too many memories that will be remembered.

One of the most memorable trips in my life was when I went to Lake Fork with "My Little Nephew"(He liked it when I called him that). We had a blast....Toney called it "The T-Dog & DannyBoy Lake Fork Fishing Spectacular". It was during the hot summer, and we caught Big Bass all night long, and during the daylight hours we would sleep. T Dog would completely cover the hotel room windows where it was pitch black, and put the A/C on 60, (He called it "The Cave"). And of course we would watch sports on TV til we crashed. Wonderful times, with an awesome guy. We will meet up again "Little Nephew" !!

Love Ya,
Uncle Danny
