Obituary for Ernest Henry Dupuis Jr.
Ernest Henry Dupuis, Jr., 81, a resident of Port Barre passed from this life on April 2, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson in a Lake Charles care center.
Mr. Ernie as he was best known was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be remembered for is jovial personality, eagerness to tell a joke, and brilliance. Mr. Ernie was a Godly man, slow to anger and filled with patience, kindness, and love for all.
He is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
He leaves to cherish is memory his loving wife of 49 years, Johnnie LeBlanc Dupuis, daughters; Lisa Dupuis, Kimberly Fontenot, and Idahmay Demarst, eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, brother; Richard Dupuis, and, sister; Elaine Dupuis.
Per his wishes, Mr. Dupuis will be cremated. His cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home.
