Obituary for Marshall F Dukes

Marshall Felix Dukes, 67, a resident of Moss Bluff passed from this life on February 27, 2020 in a local care facility.

Mr. Dukes was a native of Anderson, South Carolina and a resident of the Lake Area for over 49 years. He served with honor in the United State Navy. He was a self employed as a roofer until he was unable to roof anymore. His family will forever remember him as an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. In his spare time, Marshall loved fishing, ridding his motorcycle, and spending time with his loved ones.

Mr. Dukes is predeceased by his father, William “Junior” Dukes, Jr., mother; Nancy Louise Davis Kemmerly, and sister; Kaye Parks.

Marshall leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 40 years, Cindy Hagar Dukes, son; Shaun Dukes and wife Katie, grandchildren; Jayden, Rainna, and Chandler, sister; Dianne Sparrow, brother; David Dukes and wife Debbie, uncles; James Carlton Dukes and Jo Robert Dukes, aunts; Barbara Summers and husband Forest, Peggy Lou Davis Hyland and husband Dutie, Gloria Jean Davis Moon, mother-in-law; Lorraine Newman Winters, brothers-in-law; Russel Hagar and wife Janice and Curtis Hagar and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dukes’ cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home of Lake Charles and a private inurnment will take place in Honea Path, South Carolina at a later date.
