Obituary for Javier Mendez Palacios
Javier Mendez Palacios, 54, a resident of Lake Charles passed from this life on February 13, 2020 in the comfort of his home.
Javier will be remembered as a loving, father, son, brother, and devoted friend. He loved cooking, joking, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved his grandchildren unconditionally and took great pride in is four grand boys. In his earlier years, Javier loved to dance and sing. He was a slot technician with Pinnacle Entertainment for over 25 years, resigned with L’auberge Lake Charles.
Javier is preceded in death by his father, Angel Aldape Palacios.
He leaves to cherish is memory his three children Michelle Fontenot and husband Joel, Johnathon Palacios and fiancé Jay’Lynn Eaglin, Monica Bias and husband Dreylin, mother; Maria Mendez Palacios, sister; Sylvia Palacios, brothers; Jose Palacios and companion Deanna Glass, Ruben Palacios and wife Lucy, and David Palacios and wife Melva, grandchildren; Ian Fontenot, Joh’von Palacios, Zane Bias, Johnathon “JR” Palacios, Jr. former wife and mother of his children, Maria Carmen Palacios, a host of nieces and nephews, and his K9 Companion, Caesar.
The family will receive visitors in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home on Sunday, February 16, 2020 from Noon until time of service in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service.
