Obituary for Mitzi Doran
Mitzi Ann Doran, 58, a resident of Sulphur went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 5, 2020.
Mitzi will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She adored her grandchildren and loved animals and ridding motorcycles. She possessed a certain free spirit, tenacious attitude, strong will, and will be loved forever. Mitzi’s family and friends will long remember her for her jokes and contagious laugh. In her younger years, she loved being at Junior’s Cycle shop and spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents George “Junior” Dautriel, Jr. and Doris Mae Harrington Dautriel.
Mitzi leaves to cherish her memory her son Marcel Doran and wife Jamie of Bullard, TX, grandchildren; Paige and Wyatt Doran also of Bullard, TX, brother, Ricky Dautriel and wife Della Genna of Sulphur, LA, nieces; Courtney Dautriel Genna and husband Matthew, Brittany Dautriel Hanks and husband Beau, and Victoria Tomme, nephew; Kaden Tomme, great nephews and nieces; Alexander and Nicholas Genna and Adalyn Mae Hanks, and former husband and father of her son, Thomas “Joe” Doran.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 11:00 AM until time of service in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Funeral services will he held at 5:00 PM. Pastor Donnie Crane is to officiate. A rosary will be prayed at 3:00 PM. Cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home of Lake Charles and burial of cremated remains will be held at Orange Grove Cemetery at a later date.
