Obituary for Michael James Dorociak Sr.
Michael James Dorociak, Sr. passed peacefully from this life on December 24, 2019 at the age 54.
Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and devoted friend. He was an unabashed Dallas Cowboys Fan. He loved being at Toledo Bend, playing 8 Ball Pool, fishing, and quoting Seinfeld and the Big Bang Theory.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Leo and Theraesa Boudreaux Dorociak , grandson; Brysieghn Dorociak, nephew; Justin Dorociak, and his dog Gracie.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 30 years Rebecca Lasha Dorociak, son; Michael James Dorociak, Jr., daughters, Jade Dorociak and fiancé Christopher Adams and Hope Dorociak and Fiancé Tyler Sanders, brother; Joseph Dorociak and companion Lisa Blackwell, grandchildren: Braiden, Nevaeh, River, Layna, Savannah, Eva, Conner, and Carter, mother-in-law; Betty Lasha, sister-in-law; Linda Congleton and husband Donny, his faithful K-9 companions: Princeton, Ziggy, Sophie, Louie, Penny, Brax, and his cat Matilda.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 3:00 PM until time of service. A memorial service will he held at 5:30 PM. Pastor Tony Bourque will officiate. Cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home.
