Obituary for Calvin Davis
Calvin Dale Davis, Sr. passed from this life on December 21, 2019 in the comfort of his home at the age of 62.
He owned and operated Good Old Boys Roofing and Remodeling for many years. He was known as “Daddy Davis” by many or “Uncle Buck” by his nieces and nephews. He was a perfectionist by nature and strove daily to exceed the expectations of his customers. Mr. Calvin was an amazing father and grandfather. He loved to cook outdoors for his family and friends.
Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents Elmo and Betty Ledger Davis and siblings: Aubrey Davis, Joyce Davis, and Jack Streeter, Jr.
Calvin leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 43 years, Deborah Tradewell Davis, children; Amanda Davis and husband Brion White, Calvin Dale Davis, Jr., and Wesley Davis, grandchildren; Kayleigh Hebert, Daniel Boykin, and Kayden Boudreaux, siblings; Jerri Briers, LaVounda Vassal, Donald Davis, Kenneth Davis, Betty Farry, and Ronnie Streeter and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Davis’ cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home. He will be interred next to his mother at a later date.
