Obituary for Marlissa Christina Fontenot
Marlissa Christina Fontenot, 29, a resident of Lake Charles passed from this life on October 23, 2019 in a local hospital.
Marlissa was a fun and loving person who always had a smile on her face. She was a great mother to her kids and loved her family dearly.
She was the life of the party, loved having fun, dancing, and making others laugh and smile. Marlissa was generous to a fault and gave to others to her own detriment.
She is preceded in death by her father Christouvle Fontenot and her son Isaiah Fontenot.
Marlissa leaves to cherish her memory her husband Michael O’Brien; children, Ma’laja O’Brien, Tyson Fontenot, and Devin Fontenot; mother, Marlene Johnson Fontenot; grandmother, Gertrude Fontenot; siblings: Dazarae Lynette Fontenot, Christouvle George Fontenot , Joshua Jamal Fontenot, Olishia Monique Conner all of Lake Charles, Kristel Fontenot of Baton Rouge, and Freddie Johnson, Nathanial Johnson, Holly Simien, and Shannon Leday and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service.
