Obituary for Russell Easton
Russell Edward Easton, 64, a resident of Lake Charles passed from this life on June 4, 2019 after a brief illness.
Russell was a die-hard Steelers Fan. He was an ardent supporter of President Donald Trump and the Band U-2. He enjoyed watching the news and the history channel. In his younger years, he enjoyed traveling the United States and had recently returned from Yellowstone National Park. He was a skilled roofer and retired after his health would no longer allow him to work.
Russell is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Easton and Dorothy Reeves.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Labaniel Easton and wife Jessica, Shannon Easton and wife Valerie, Corina Marquez, Clarissa Easton, Van Wayne Easton, and Kayla Bailey; seven grandchildren; sister, Regina Lafanette and husband Ray; brothers, Michael Wayne Easton, Gerald Easton, Steven Craig Easton and wife Summer, and Ernest Eugene Easton, and faithful K-9 companion Sampson.
The family will receive friends in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A celebration of Russell’s life will take place at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Easton’s cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home.
