Obituary for Anne Shand Louviere

Anne Shand Louviere, 92, a resident of Sulphur passed from this life on November 26, 2018 in a local hospital.

She immigrated to the United States in 1945 on the Queen Elizabeth. She has also traveled extensively and was a passenger on Queen Mary, The S.S. America, and the Queen Elizabeth II. Anne had a million-dollar smile, blue eyes, and red hair that would captivate anyone she met. She had a magnetic personality and loved to smile and laugh with everyone she met. In her younger years, she loved dancing and was an active member of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Louviere was devoted to her family both here in the United States and those back home in Scotland.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Boyne Fisher Shand and Anges Salmon McLuckie, husband, Harold Joseph Louviere, and daughter, Kim Elizabeth Williams.

Anne leaves to cherish her precious memory her two daughters, Jean L. Satter and husband Robert W. Satter, Jr. of Pickerington, OH and Cynthia Ayo and husband James D. Ayo, of Sulphur, LA, grandchildren: Robyn Satter Benard and husband Barry, Scott James Satter and wife Amy Mullen, Michelle Ayo Romero and husband James Patrick Romero, Joshua D. Ayo and wife Trisha, Rebecca Brown Ayo Hanks and husband Gregory Hanks, Faith Ayo Dandeneau and husband Richie Allen, and Heather A. Fowler St. Romain and husband Adam Christopher, 18 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, sister Jane Shand Phillipson, niece Ann Lloyd Gallagher and nephew Scott Phillipson and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Louviere’s cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Burial will take place at a later date.
