Don Ray Trahan, 56, a resident of Lake Charles answered the Lord’s call on August 13, 2018 in the comfort of his home.

He was a loving and caring person who was known for his great sense of humor and had an unending supply of jokes. He was a great cook and loved fishing, being with his friends, and being on the water.

He is predeceased by his father Earl Louis Trahan and father-in-law, Robert Ardoin.

Don leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Cherie Denise Trahan, sons, Jason Trahan, Brandon Ardoin, and Billy Facuett, daughter, Kristin Trahan and Brittany Ardoin, mother, Kay Lynne Wynn and husband Bill, two brothers, Terry Trahan and wife Nikki and Tony Trahan, step-brother, Willy Wynn and wife Vickie and step-sister Natalie Fontenot and husband Lionel, grandchildren, Peyton LeDoux, Ava Ardoin, and Evan Ardoin and his mother-in-law Cynthia Ardoin.

Don’s cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
