Roger Dale Chaline, 72, a resident of Moss Bluff passed from this life on August 11, 2018 in a local hospital.

He was a good father, grandfather, and brother. He was a very hard worker. Roger retired from being a welding inspector where he excelled at his trade. He enjoyed motorcycles, spending time with his family, and tending his garden. Roger was a devoted football fan and possessed a very unique sense of humor. Later in life Roger came to know Christ as his Lord and Savior and he loved him dearly.

He is predeceased by his parents Joe and Juanita Vincent Chaline.

Roger leaves to cherish his memory his children Vickie Daley of Lake Charles, Freddie Chaline and wife Amber of Palmdale California, and Holly Leafstedt of Anchorage Alaska, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, sister, Judy Fabacher and husband Johnny, and his beloved dogs Tatter and Sissy.

Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of service. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ritchie Cemetery.
