Obituary for Ronald Everette Sanders

Ronald Everette Sanders, MD, 70, a resident of Lake Charles passed from this life on July 20, 2018 in a local care facility.

Dr. Sanders was born in Charleston, West Virginia lived most of his life in Ironwood Michigan and had recently moved to Lake Charles to be near his family. He graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and was a Board-Certified Pathologist. He served as the head pathologist at several hospitals and later served in the capacity of Medical Examiner in Ironwood, MI. He enjoyed big game hunting and being in the outdoors.

He is predeceased by his parents Lewis and Elaine Gentry Sanders.

Ronald leaves to cherish his memory his brother Greg Sanders, his nephew, James Sanders, nieces, Michelle Sanders, Kimberly Smith, and Monica Abshire, uncle, Glenn Gentry, and aunt Gloria Landry.

In accordance with the Dr. Sanders’ wishes his cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home.
