William “Bill” Holcomb, age 82, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on May 16, 2018.

Bill was raised in Many, Louisiana. He graduated from Northwestern State University and spent his career working for the State of Louisiana where he retired in 1986. He then, worked for himself with his wife in their business, Moss Bluff Bookkeeping Tax and Notary Service until his full retirement in 2010.

Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ramona; 3 daughters, Karen(Mike) Turner, of Louisville, KY, Rhonda Harb of Moss Bluff, and Kathy(Gordon)David of Lake Charles; one son; Mark Holcomb of Moss Bluff; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter due in October. He also leaves behind two brothers, Joe(Jackie) Holcomb of Many, Louisiana, and Tom(Brenda) Holcomb of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, A.L “Bill” and Corine Holcomb and one brother, Lennis Holcomb.

Cremation will be entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Moss Bluff First Baptist Church.
