Obituary for Pearlie Jo Ann Caudo (Turner)

Pearlie Jo Ann Turner Caudo, 77, a longtime resident of the Sulphur area passed peacefully from this life on April 21, 2018 in the comfort of her home.

Jo Ann was born on December 27, 1940 to the union of Robert Louis Turner, Sr. and Pearl Johnson Turner in Oakdale, LA. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend to many. Mrs. Caudo was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sulphur and enjoyed her bible study and essential oils. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and also studied Medical Coding and Interior Design.

Mrs. Caudo is predeceased by her husband, James Caudo; son, Ray Schultz; father, Robert L. Turner, Sr.; brother, Robert “Butch” Turner, Jr.; and sister Sandy Suydam.

She leaves to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her son, Albert Schultz; daughter Mona Watson; mother, Pearl Johnson Turner; sisters, Barbara Petty Poole, Jan Suydam, and Betty O’Quain; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her special niece Monica LeBlanc.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 10 AM until time of service in the sanctuary of Trinity Lutheran Church on 1400 South Post Oak Road Sulphur, LA. Funeral services will be held at 12 PM. Pastor Shane McCoy is to officiate. Burial will follow in Cryer Cemetery in Oakdale.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Jo Ann’s dear friend and caregiver Blanche Panuto and Monique, Liz, and Jason with Amedisys Hospice for their kindness and compassion during this difficult journey.
