Betty J. Provost, 82, a resident of Vinton, LA passed from this life on April 6, 2018 surrounded by her family.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved to travel and work in her yard and flower beds. She loved her family each and every one unconditionally.

Mrs. Provost is predeceased by her father, Elder Stennett, mother, Jessie Sjoberg, son, Donald Newton, Jr, and granddaughter, DeAnne Daville.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Doraine Daville and husband Bert of Vinton, JoAnne Johnson and her husband Brent of Midlothian, TX, Freddy Miller of Iowa, Jeff Miller and wife Jeri of Plano, TX and Anne Provost of Chicago, IL, thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren, her faithful companion, Dixie, and a host of friends she made along life’s journey.

In accordance with Mrs. Provost’s wishes cremation will be accorded and a private memorial service will be held at a later time.
