Constance Adell Meerholz Griswold, 74, a resident of Lake Charles, passed from this life on April 2, 2018 in the comfort of her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

“Connie” as she was affectionately known was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. In her spare time, Connie loved to Crochet, playing Bingo, Yahtzee, and Solitaire. In her young years she loved returning to the place of her birth, New Jersey.

She is predeceased by her parents William and Violet Meerholz, and son, Jeffrey Griswold.

Constance leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 53 years Robert Griswold, daughter, Cindy Bates, granddaughter, Sarah Morgan and spouse JoLee Belflower, great-grandchildren: Gauge Morgan, Kassidy Griswold, and Paxtyn Belflower, sister, Debbie Gee, and brother Bill Meerholz.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Griswold’s cremation has been trusted to Lakeside Funeral Home.
