Rodney Wayne Ange, 67, a resident of Lake Charles passed from this life on October 19, 2017 in a local care facility.

He will be remembered as a amazing father and friend. Rodney loved farming, fishing, watching sports especially watching his granddaughters run, and spending time with his grandchildren. His family and friends will miss his great sense of humor, a knack for remembering details about people and places, and a deep knowledge and appreciation for history and nature.

He is predeceased by his parents; Joseph Ange and Cleo Lavernge Ange.

Rodney leaves to cherish his memory his; daughters; Keri Ange Gilroy and husband Brendon and Kattie Faulk Shah and husband Dr. Azam Shah; son, Kendall Ange and wife Christina; grandchildren, Taylor Ange, Haile Gilroy, Ciara Gilroy, Daniel "Stitch" Ange, and Gracie Ange; sister, Linda Lebato husband Anthony; brother, Raymond Ange, and former wife; Johnnie Faye "BoBo."

A gathering of friends will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until time of service. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral.
