Jose “Joe” Nicolas Diaz, Jr, 89, a resident of LeBleu Settlement passed away in the comfort of his home on October 6, 2017.

Joe will be remembered for his intellect and strong will. He was an avid horseman and no one understood or loved horses more than he did. He served with honor in the United Stated Army.

He is predeceased by his parents and one son, Jose “Joey” Nicolas Diaz, III.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 37 years, Mary Ann Elliott Diaz; daughters, Caroline Diaz, Carmen Diaz, Elizabeth Brown, and Mary Jo Diaz; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

In honor of Mr. Diaz’s wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.
