Robert Donald Arabie, 78, a resident of Lake Charles passed from this life sounded by the ones he loved on February 27, 2017.

Robert was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He was an iron worker for many years and bred and trained race horses. He served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening and sitting out on his front porch.

Robert is predeceased by his parents Wilson and Bertha Johnice Arabie, wife, Patricia Fusilier Arabie, son, Brian Keith Arabie, brother, Roy Arabie, and sisters, Gennieve, Lou, and Diane.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two sons, Bobbie Arabie and wife Belinda of Moss Bluff and Mark Arabie of Kinder, two daughters, Pam Trim and husband Kirk of Lake Charles and Angela Martin and husband Bill of Grand Lake, two brothers, Tommy Arabie and wife Audrey and Gerald Arabie and wife Charlene, thirteen grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.

Mr. Arabie's cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
