Obituary for Mark Allen Guidry

Mark Allen Guidry, 54, a resident of Lake Charles passed from this life onto his eternal reward on August 30, 2016.

Mark was a loving husband, brother, and son. He served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Army. Before his illness he was a brick layer and in his spare time, he loved watching movies and listening to gospel music. He was a graduate of Washington Marion High School.

Mr. Guidry is predeceased by his parents, Calvin Guidry and Lauraline Ellen Orebo Guidry and two brothers Michael Guidry and Bryan C. Guidry.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Cassandra Wilson Guidry, four brothers: James Guidry, Robert Guidry, Don Guidry and Calvin B. Guidry and two sisters, Beverly A. Guidry and Lisa Lewinski all of Lake Charles.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, September 9, 2016 in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home from 9 AM until 11 AM. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
