Gene Wendell Nave, 78, a resident of Longville, LA passed from this life on April 18, 2016.

Gene was a loving man, who will be remembered for his jovial personality and unselfishness nature. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, ceramics, and traveling with his wife. Mr. Nave loved his dogs who were his constant companion, Buddy and Midge. Most of all, Gene enjoyed having the children from all of the family around.

He is predeceased by his parents, Jean Nave and Marie Rice Nave, and sister, Joan.

Mr. Nave leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Pamela Parham Nave, sons, David, and Robert Nave, daughters, Terri Morgan, Wendey Bruno, Jodi Robertson, and Allison Spelbrink, two brothers, Bill Nave and Ray Nave, eleven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

A gathering of friends will be held on April 28, 2016 from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM a memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home.
