Obituary for Edward Peter Nowak

Edward Peter Nowak, 88, a native of Passiac, New Jersey and resident of Lake Charles passed from this life on August 7, 2015 in a local care facility.
Mr. Nowak will be remembered for his social and affable nature. He was a loving father, husband, and grandfather. He was a Master Beekeeper and taught many classes at School Craft Community College in Livonia, MI, after retiring from General Motors as a systems analyst. He was president of SEMBA (Southeastern Michigan Beekeepers Association.) Mr. Nowak was stationed in Europe during and after World War II and was honorably discharged for his years of service in the United States Army.
He is predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary Nowak, brother, John, and sister, Angie.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Ada Nowak, daughter Sandra Rosenberger and husband Leland of Moss Bluff, son, Edward Peter Nowak, Jr. of Castroville, CA, sister, Frances Nowak, grandchildren, Emelia Emerson and Steven Rosenberger, great grandchildren, Alexandra Elizabeth Kaniaris, William Joseph Emerson IV, Ruby Lee Emerson, and Mei Li Rosenberger.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Nowak was cremated. His cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home. Memories and words of comfort can be shared with the family at
