Obituary for Lavon Munro

Lavon Marie Munro, 68, a resident of Lake Charles passed from this life on May 25, 2019 in the comfort of her own home.

Lavon was a follower of Jesus Christ and new him as her Lord and Savior. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. She will be remembered for her vibrant, outgoing, and bubbly personality. She was generous to a fault and possessed a huge kind heart, always wanting to help others and making anyone and everyone she was near laugh. She always left an impression with everyone she met…an impression that will live on in the memories of all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Alexis Clement; and siblings, Lloyd Cook, Luin Cook, Ernest Cook, Clarence Cook, Melvin Cook, Lavelle Ries, Mina Sandrock, and Nancy Cook.

Lavon leaves to cherish her memory her three daughters, Stephanie Ann Jennings, Leslie Renee Vasquez and husband Steev, and Kristy Vasquez and Selvin; grandchildren, Matthew DaCunha and wife Haley, Joshua Rivas, Christian Vasquez, Joseph Vasquez, Lauren Jennings and Natalie Jennings; one great grandchild Samuel Clement; sister, Deloris Sheehan, mother in law Mary Trahan, and best friend, Carleen Wade.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Munro will be cremated, and no services will be held.
