Loretta Vincent O’Quain, 83, a resident of Sulphur passed from this life on March 12, 2018 in the comfort of her own home.
She leaves to cherish her memory her three daughters: Susan Mott, Frances Bumgarden and husband Russell, and Priscilla Royer all of Sulphur, three sons; Allen Gary, Sammy Gary and wife Amelia, and Philbert Gary and wife Kim all of Sulphur, fifteen grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Philbert and Medora Berry Vincent, daughter, Dorothy Ellender, grandsons, Michael Ellender and Kenneth Mott, granddaughter, Stephanie Gary, brothers, Severin, Mason, and Tauzin Vincent, sisters; Frances Miller, Agnes Rougeau, Dorothy Broussard, Helena Logue, Bernice Bunch, Lavinia Vincent.
Mrs. O’Quain was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved playing bingo and treasure hunting in her spare time.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 8:00 AM until 9:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur. Burial will follow in Shell Beach Cemetery in Lake Arthur.
