Obituary for Arthur Cox

Arthur  Cox
Arthur Lynn Cox, 75, a resident of Lake Charles passed form this life on February 18, 2018 in the comfort of his home.
He was a loving father, brother and grandfather. He loved dancing to swamp pop and country music. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends while listening to music. Arthur was an avid sports fan and enjoyed exercising. He was proud to serve as Tower Oaks’ King of Mardi Gras in 2015. His family will remember his for his deep devotion to them and willingness to help them.
Arthur is predeceased by his parents: Arthur Lee Cox, Jr and Dorothy Smith Cox, grandchildren; Patrick Godeaux, Jr, and Grady Vidos; siblings, Mary Nell Ledoux Cox, James Earl Cox, and Robert Dale Cox
Arthur leaves to cherish his memory his three-loving daughter: Ramona Cavazzo, Bernadette Billings, and Tammy Cox Vidos, eight grandchildren: Chasity Baglio, Brittany Leonard, Ryan Bertrand, Laken Billings, Cameron Vidos, and Blake Vidos; three-great grandchildren; Dante Leonard, Skyler Leger, and Luca Baglio; siblings, Nancy Ann Carlin Cox, Donald Ray Cox, Thomas Alan Cox, Charles Keith Cox, Anthony Paul Cox, Ricky Lamont Cox, and Malcom Gene Cox.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of service in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Deacon George Carr is to officiate. Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery.
