Robert Edward Monticello
Robert Edward Monticello, 71, a resident of Lake Charles died peacefully in the comfort of his home on December 25, 2017 surrounded by those he loved most.
He will be remembered as a loving father, brother, and grandfather. In his spare time, he loved flying planes and riding motorcycles. Robert was the co-owner of Gulfway Auto Salvage in Lake Charles for over 35 years. He was a generous and loving person who lived life to its fullest. Robert served with honor in the United States Army.
Robert is predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Winne Myers Monticello, brother, Sammy Angelo Monticello and sister-in-law, Tina LeJeune Monticello.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his son; Trent Monticello of Austin, TX, daughters, Robin Anderson and Janice Monticello both of Lake Charles, and Hope Monticello Clark and husband Ronnie of Lacassine, sisters; Patricia Boswell and husband Leslie, brother, Charles Monticello, and seven grandchildren.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Monticello will be cremated and there will no service or viewing and burial will be in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA at a later date.
