Obituary for Deborah Carlin

Deborah Gail Carlin, 64, a resident of Moss Bluff passed from this life on November 13, 2017 surrounded by her family.

Debbie as she was affectionately known will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She possessed a very kind and loving nature. She was a devoted wife and Christian. She loved her church family dearly and was in regular attendance at church until her illness. In her spare time, Debbie enjoyed, camping, playing Dominos, dancing, reading and tending the flowers in her yard. Debbie was an accountant for many years and later owned Louisiana Market in the Cottage Shop District.

Mrs. Carlin is predeceased by her parents; James Fontenot and Elle Pate; one sister, Linda Winterbottom, and brother-in-law Lawrence Winterbottom.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 46 years Larry Carlin; her son, Lance Carlin and wife Janae, two grandsons; Blaine and Braiden Carlin; three sisters, Rhetta Fontenot, Lisa Morvant, and Connie Genna; brother, Bennie Fontenot and wife Liz; four nieces, Courtney Genna, Brittany Hanks, Shae Morvant, and Stephanie Dubard; three nephews, Danny Dubard, Matt Genna, and Beau Hanks; great niece, Jolene Dubard and three great nephews, Alex Genna, Nicholas Genna, and Waylon Dubard.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2017 in the chapel Lakeside Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Sunny Simpson is to officiate. Burial will follow in New Ritchie Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Carroll Richard, Ricky Dautriel, Pete McKinzey, Lance Carlin, Danny Dubard and Larry Carlin.
