Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Matthew 5:5
To the friends and family of Karen Denise Reeves:
Karen was definitely a meek and humble person. She always had a smile on her face in spite of huge crosses in her life. She never had a bad word to say about anybody. Her Christian values were evident in all areas of her life.
I met Karen when I was five years old. I was visiting my friend and classmate, Debbie. She introduced me to her younger sister. They called her Necee(sp?) She had long, beautiful curly hair. I have been friends with all of the Reeves family ever since. My mother knew Fred when he was 8 years old. My father always said that Fred was his best friend. I remember visits with Debbie, Karen and Scott-such good times.
Karen was a wonderful mother and grandmother. I remember that she talked about having breakfast with all of her kids and grandkids on Saturday morning.
Karen was very interested in the welfare of special ed folks due to the fact that she was in charge of a group home. My son, W.Robert took to her right away. She had a special gift. When she became very ill, W.Robert would beg to go with me to see her. He recognized the Holy Spirit that dwelled within her.
I really miss my friend, Karen, but I am glad that she is not suffering anymore. Rest in peace sweet Karen. Pray for us dear friend.
Love,
MaryKay
