Obituary for Dorothy Nell Nold

Dorothy Nell Nold, 78, a native of Memphis, TN and resident of Lake Charles, LA, entered into eternal rest on September 21, 2017 surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Nold was a loving and devoted mother to her children. She was known for her strong will, outspoken nature and feisty personality that was willing to help those in need. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts of all different natures, sewing, doll making, stained glass, spending time with her family and her beloved cats.

Dorothy is predeceased by her parents; Willie Edward Maupin and Ruby Mae Pruitt Maupin; husband, Neil Nold; son, Tommy Durham, and one brother, Jimmy Allen Maupin.

Mrs. Nold leaves to cherish her memory; her son, Jason Nold; daughter, Debbie Veillon and husband David of Lake Charles, grandchildren, Jason Nold, Jr, and Leighann Alfaro, Justin Nold, Desire'e Mullins and husband Gunner, and Davi'd Veillon and wife Diana; two great-grandchildren, Emily Alfero and Gabriela Veillon; and her two loving cats, Baby and Goldie.

Cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home of Lake Charles, LA.
