Irma Dean  Moreau (Goodman)
Irma Dean Goodman Moreau, 89, of Lake Charles passed away peacefully on August 6, 2017 in a local care center.

Mrs. Moreau was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a practicing catholic and a member of the Catholic Daughters. "Deanie" as she was affectionately known will be remembered as being very lady like and loved quilting, sewing, and cooking, skills she instilled in all four of her children.

She is predeceased by her husband, John C. Moreau; parents; Rudolph and Sarah Landry Goodman; brother, Marvin Goodman; and sister, Betty Goodman.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Beth Owens and husband Phil of Tyler, Texas, Christine DesOrmeaux and husband Steven of Sulphur, Louisiana, Mark Moreau and wife Christy of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Melanie Moreau of Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Damien, John, Aaron, Katie, and Megan, and two great grandson Corbin and Levi.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 8:00 AM until time of service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Deacon Harold Nixon is to officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery.

The family would like to express their grateful appreciation for the compassionate care given by Brighton Bridge Hospice and the entire staff of Resthaven Nursing Facility.
