JoReaux Colette Pilkerton, 40, a life long resident of Lake Charles passed from this life on March 12, 2017 in a local hospital, surrounded by those she loved most.

Mrs. Pilkerton will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. In her spare time she loved being in the outdoors especially camping, fishing and cooking.

She is predeceased by her father Jack Benniefiel, her, nephew, Devin Guidry and her in-laws Joseph and Charlotte Pilkerton.

Jo leaves to cherish her memory, her husband John Pilkerton, two daughters, Marlana and Haley Oden, stepsons, Bradley and Shelby Pilkerton, mother, Darlyne Benniefiel, sister, Dana Watkins, brother, Jay Benniefiel, one grand daughter Avery Morgan, niece, Brooke Guidry, great nephew, Devin Guidry, and numerous nephews.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Wednesday, March 15, 2016 from 10 AM until 1 PM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Rev. Tony Bourque is to officiate. Burial will follow in New Ritchie Cemetery.
