Earleen Ripley, 70, a resident of Lake Charles passed from this life on March 7, 2017 at a local care facility.

Earleen will be remembered as a collector and a generous soul. She loved children and was filled with life. She enjoyed her solitude and never met a stranger and gave everyone the benefit of the doubt.

She is predeceased by her parents Francis Durio and Pearl Moreaux Durio and sister Sherry Lynn Solomon.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her son, Scott Socha, siblings Jane Deshotel and husband John of Laport Texas, Joyce Guillory and husband Winston of Pasadena, TX, Cleveland Molitar and wife Pam of Sulphur, LA, Terry Meaux of lake Charles, James Deaton and fiancé Missy Verette of Lake Charles, and host of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mrs. Ripley’s wishes she was cremated and there will be no services.
