Donald Olander Racca Sr., 60, passed from this life on January 31, 2017 in the comfort of his home surrounded by this loving family.

Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be remembered as a wonderful man, and father. He enjoyed taking cruises with his wife spending time with his family and was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast.

Mr. Racca is predeceased by his parents Alvin Joseph Racca, Sr. and Lilly Mae Gaspard Racca and two brothers, Raywood Racca and Alvin Joseph “T-Man” Racca, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Christine Deville Racca, his children, Donald Olander Racca II and wife Victoria, Nicholas Joseph Racca, Sr. and girlfriend Tiffany Boudreaux, Laci Rene LaBove and husband Joseph, Stephanie Lynn Ford, Stacy Lynn Cornett and husband Chad, and Sandy Lynn Calin and husband Roberto, one brother Freddie Racca and wife Sandra, thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and his dog Lucy.

At the request of the family, friends are invited to join the family in fellowship at their home at 16310 Cheyenne Drive, Iowa, LA 70647 on Friday, February, 3, 2017 from 11 AM until 2 PM. In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Racca was cremated.

The family request that in lieu of customary remembrances donations be made in Mr. Racca’s memory to Saint Jude’s Children Hospital.
