Roxy Mae Caesar Lively, 72, of Lake Charles, died Oct. 19, 2016, at home. Born Sept. 30, 1944, in Fort Benning, Ga., to the late Russell and Annie Cesar Sr. She graduated from W. O. Boston High School class of 1962. Employed at Lake Charles Care Center in nursing for many years.

She leaves to mourn her husband, Charles Lively; her brother, Russell (Gwen) Caesar Jr.; daughter, Racquel Daugherty of Lake Charles, La.; son, Raphale Cortez LeBlanc II of San Diego, Calif.; three grandchildren, Rochelle Rigmaiden, Racquel LeBlanc and Raven Daugherty; and seven great-grandchildren; and niece and nephews, Chere’ Higginbottom and Raymon Caesar.

Thank you to the nurses and staff members of Christus St. Patrick Hospital, Amedisys Hospice and Oncology staff of Memorial / Moss Regional Hospital.

Visitation 11 a.m. at Starlight Baptist Church Friday, Oct. 28, 2016. Going home service at 1 p.m. and repast to follow. Burial will follow in Orange Grove Cemetery.
