Mickel  Veillon
Mickel Veillon, 60, took his last ride off into the sunset on September 29, 2016 in his home surrounded by his family and friends.

Mickel was a loving husband, father, son, and friend. He was a very outgoing person and never met a stranger. Mr. Veillon was a cowboy at heart and loved working in his leather shop at home and working his horses.

He is predeceased by his father, Joseph Veillon, brother, Stacey Veillon, and sisters, Berdine Shuff and Glenda Veillon.

Mickel leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, May Duhon, daughter, Brandy Veillon of Lake Charles, sons, Shannon Veillon and wife Colleen of Baltimore, MD, and Mickel Veillon II of Lake Charles, and two step sons Troy Duhon and Bubba Duhon, mother, Louise Berwick, brother, Ronald Shuff, sister, Sheila Veillon, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 3 PM until 6 PM. Funeral services will be held at 6 PM in the Chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Rev. Ronnie Estes is to officiate. Cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home.
