Warren R. Hicks, Sr., 87, a resident of Westlake, LA passed from this life
on April 7, 2016 in a local care center. Warren was born on March 9, 1929 to
Norman F. Hicks, Jr., and Ina R. Hollander Hicks in Lake Charles, LA.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Warren
worked for Trouth Plumbing for 34 years. He was a member and past President
of Plumber and Steam Fitters Local 106 and a Master Mason with Lodge 443 for
60 years. Mr. Hicks was a founding member of Ward 4 District 4 Water Works
and served 40 years as a board member and was an active member of First
Baptist Church of Westlake. In his spare time, Warren enjoyed traveling,
hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Warren is predeceased by his parents, daughter, Sharon Hicks, great
grandson, Jase Hicks, brothers, James Hicks, Norman F. Hicks III, and Donald
Hicks, and sisters, Norma Kibodeaux and Becky Evans.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 67 years, Dorothy
Widcamp Hicks, sons, Warren "Rusty" Hicks, Jr. (Mary Lou) of San Antonio, TX and
David Hicks (Linda) of Westlake, LA, grandchildren, Karen (Bill) Smith,
Stacie (Steven) Clark, and John (Tabitha) Hicks, great grandchildren,
Katelyn Clark, Russ Clark, Reed Hicks and Luke Hicks, and three brothers,
Douglas Hicks, Richard Hicks, and Jack Hicks.
A memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, May 7, 2016 in the sanctuary of
First Baptist Church of Westlake. Cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside
Funeral Home.
