Debra Ann Chapman Lavergne, 64, a resident of Moss Bluff passed from this life on March 19, 2016 surrounded by those she loved.

Debra was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was a caring and selfless individual. In her spare time, she loved cooking, drinking coffee and spoiling her grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents Anthony and Mary Nell Doucet Chapman and her husband Harold James Lavergne.

Debra leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Mickie Vartuli and fiancé Daniel Randall of Moss Bluff, two sons, Todd Lavergne and wife Tiffany of Iowa, LA, and Andy Lavergne and wife Amanda of Destin, Fl., four sisters, Angela Casebier, Anthonette Gomez, Tina Deville, and Ceil Dahly, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 3 Pm until 8 PM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed at 6 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8 AM until time of service.
Funeral Services will held at 11:30 AM Tuesday in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Rev. John Huckaby will officiate. Burial will follow in Gatte cemetery in Iota, LA.
