Obituary for Thomas Adam Vassal

Thomas A. Vassal, 65, passed away Feb. 26, 2015 in a local care facility. A native of Hayes, LA, Thomas spent his time in Lake Charles, LA and Waskom, TX. Thomas loved to fish and travel, having visited all of the continental United States.

Thomas is survived by his son, Thomas B. Vassal, daughter, Rosanna Mason and husband Richard, and their mother LaVounda Vassal; two grand daughters, Candace Cook and Annabel Mason; his brothers, Robert Vassal and wife Paula of Jonesville, TX, Ray Vassal and wife Mary of Cheyenne, WY, Billy Turner and wife Anna of Ponca City, OK, Sam Turner and wife a Trish of Marshall, TX, and Glenn Turner and wife Georgia of Marshall, TX. He also leaves behind numerous other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Colin Joseph Vassal Sr. And Rose Mary Turner; and his brother Colin Joseph Vassal Jr.

The family would like to thank Harbor Hospice in Lake Charles, Lakeside funeral home and family and friends for all of their support.

Cremation was entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home.
