Condolence: As a member of staff at the Calcasieu Cameron Chapter of the Red Cross I was privileged to observe Remona when she did disaster case work at our office. Always smiling and thoughtful she comforted her clients yet gently had to help some of the them face reality. As the years passed I too worked with disaster victims. The lessons I learned from Remona helped me become a comfort and guide to many disaster victims. When I became the chapter manager, I tried to talk Remona into returning to disaster assistance, that time had passed for her. But, she was always a willing resource. I think of her smiling face and find myself smiling with her. She left many people with fond memories and a sense of thankfulness for having known her. May God comfort you.
